Detailed Product Description

The Honeywell SM(OS2) FIBER CABLE is a single-mode, armored fiber optic cable specifically designed for outdoor network use. It features a Unitube design which has a Thixotropic jelly inside to prevent water from getting into the loose tube. The cable's construction includes two FRP rods as embedded strength members to provide excellent tensile strength. The outer sheath is available in either black HDPE or LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen). This cable is available in 6 and 12-fiber core counts. The OS2 designation indicates a high-quality, low-water peak single-mode fiber with better signal quality for very long runs, with a maximum attenuation of 0.4 dB/km and a typical maximum distance of 200 km.
